SWAP Say it · Write it · Act it · Perform it is an original experimental theatre-based methodology created by Alex Montealegre and produced by Mississauga Players Theatre Organization. Developed over time through experimental and community-based theatre practices, SWAP integrates improvisation, ludic dynamics, movement and foundational acting tools into a structured yet accessible framework. 

It is intentionally designed for teenagers, adults and seniors with little or no prior theatre experience, guiding participants into the performative process in an organic and pressure-free way. 

Through improvisation, movement, creative writing and introductory theatre production elements, participants engage in a guided artistic process that emphasizes exploration, presence and collective creation. 

By experiencing theatre from within, participants deepen their understanding of performance as a living and contemporary art form, often developing a sustained interest beyond the program.
